Notes from a Stylist is loving the new Lanvin dollys

Just when you thought it was safe to consider you were all sorted style wise for the next few weeks, you've shopped your hardest in this seasons sales, you've weeded you're wardrobe to within an inch of its life and there is simply nothing left to buy - those crazy fools at Lanvin release their new collection of fashion forward porcelain dolls.

Alber Elbaz has created the figurines inspired by the idea of mothers and daughters as a tribute to Lanvin's mother Jeanne Lanvin. With 7 dolls in the current collection to celebrate Lanvin's 120th anniversary if you look closely at the impeccable detail you can see some of the dresses  depicted from seasons gone by.
