We may be peeking our heads out of a recession but the magazine industry thinks its over - there's a bunch of new mags out there that are not only delightful but extremely stylish.
Step forward Grey Magazine from Italy - already punting out its 2nd biannual edition and dedicated to black and white photography.
"It's not about the latest fashion trends of the moment but more of an inspirational book for people in the fashion field who are passionate about photography and imagery.. it's for the people who make the trends, not those who follow them" commented Valentina Ilardi Martin, it's Editor in Chief.
Twin magazine is the brainchild of British Vogue's Aimee Farrell, Francesca Gavin and Rebecca Smith former creative director of Lula Magazine. This mag counts 'substance over surface' as its motto promising no hard sell and simply supplying a portal for accessing beautiful fashion photography.
Glass magazine films and photographs all its shoots simultaneously so you can either read it in good old fashioned print format or read it online - a clever ruse to counteract the current dilemma on whether the role of the paper magazine will eventually become extinct.
I love a great monthly mag but as a contributor for Running with Heels.com who also produce an E-zine I think I'm happily sitting on the fence on this one.
