5 good things about traveling with your husband
Although there are a number of negatives to traveling with your hubs, my recent London Fashion Week jaunt left me with a more positive view. Yes, I had to listen to the minutiea of a board meeting and some of my sneaky boutique purchases were outed a tad earlier than anticipated, but I'm beginning to wonder whether traveling with a frequent flier with those nice platinum cards is actually a win win.
1. When you're plane is set to be 2 hours delayed with a scheduled landing time of 2am New York time during a blizzard, the check in staff bust their butts to get you on an earlier emptier flight.
2. You get to sneak into the American Airlines lounge even when your other half (who owns the magic platinum card) is stuck in traffic on the M25.
3.The lounge staff keep you updated on your hubs sprint through check in and security and appraise you of his whereabouts in the airport.
4. Even though you're traveling economy on air miles freebies, you get emergency exit seats with that teeny tiny bit more leg room.
5. The stewardess smuggles you a styro foam cup of vino when him indoors (who naturally only ever turns in and left on a plane), balks at the notion of paying $7 for a glass of grotty chardonnay...
