Rebecca Minkoff showed in The Box at the Lincoln Center which is a presentation space rather than a runway show.
This season presentations are becoming increasingly popular as the cost to have your models stand in one spot versus participating in an elaborate runway show is a no brainer in the economically tight 'fash' world.
The Minkoff collection looked like a young office girls dream, not bad for the designers first foray into dressing the whole girl as opposed to simply providing the accessories.
We saw pretty florals mixed with edgier leather accessories, as well as fun separates in palettes of nude, red, navy and gray. There were some cool jodphurs I'm covetting but not so the matchy matchy dalmatian print bag and wedges...
I'm hoping they were faux as the Cruella de Ville tag is a touch pr nut to crack.
