There was a buzz about the Alexander Berardi show even before it had begun - probably something to do with Grace Jones slinking into the front row, but I like to think it was more anticipation for the show.
Berardi came up with feast of nautical meets far east via the sequin parlour. We saw cute capelet dresses with nautical hoops, cropped harem pants bedazzled with sequins. Clever summer layering with silks, cotton and more sequins heaped into one look.
Fun details like ribbon embellished bracelets and a new take on the gladiator sandal...
As well as my favorite look which was a fun black silk jumpsuit perfect for the summer - damn it, why are we heading into Fall?
