John Gallianos recent couture show for Christian Dior had all the melodrama of Lady GaGa meets the Chelsea Flower Show.
To be fair the only person likely to be wearing any of these luxe outfits would be the Lady herself (complete with mesh head dress and an up-do).
The staging reminded me of scenes from the Bellagio botanical gardens in Las Vegas, but the dresses of course stole the show.
