Nice to see that as the surf hots up, the board style stakes are also heating up with Proenza Schouler teaming up with Shire Boarding Co. in producing a limited edition hand crafted long board in their Spring 2010 runway collection tie-dye print. There's also a short board with a nostalgic wave print that could rock your ride this summer.
Of course it's not all flimsy fabric here, it's an epoxy resin finish on carbon fiber to ensure that the whole waterproof thing works - which is clearly a 100% requirement whilst catching a wave.
