Whilst the Bear himself might have been swanning it up this weekend at the Governors Island Veuve Clicquot classic I hope he took a few minutes to spare a thought for those of us out here, way out West, who are convening with nature and quite frankly lucky to be alive amidst the mozzies and the chipmunks.
Armed only with a hire car and a couple of kids, my mission has been to attempt to survive hiking country where 5 star luxury is not an option. I haven't seen a piece of fruit in days and the vegetable quotient seems to have dipped way low as hikers seem to survive on hot dogs and ham'n cheese sarnies.
With 2,000 year old Sequoia trees and mile upon mile of great out doors, Notes from a Stylist will have to report back on survival or death by 3 star hotel.....
