I think it was only last week I was saying "floral schmoral" - rainy old New York has had enough storms and dull days on an epic proportion to give you S.A.D. for the next decade, but you know what, a bit of sun and the Jamaican spirit has this weird effect on you.
Maybe it was only a matter of time, but 5 days of being subjected to full on bright prints (mostly reggae inspired primary colors with a bit of turquoise thrown in for good measure) - I'm quite getting into this bright print thing.
As for florals - a hibiscus plant here, a bougainvillea there - without much difficulty I can see where Tibi and Versace are coming from for their Spring/Summer 2010 vibe - they've clearly been spending some time in a tropical clime where floral brightness is de rigeur
