Having packed what I considered was a straightforward 'any event' capsule wardrobe, I have clearly not heeded the correct rules. My days here have been filled with a number of awe inspiring sartorial stunners that have left me quite frankly gob smacked.
From this charming couple who literally waltzed down the slopes together - don't ask me, probably some new winter Olympic sport to try and entice the mid west to watch more winter sports. Also am not quite sure where the Budweiser sponsorship thing quite kicks in - their target market is clearly on the turn from burly truckers in middle America to slightly off the wall couples with style apnea.
To today's little feast of fashion fall outs - neon jumpsuits from the 80's, badly matched snow board outfits who's owners are clearly not reading up on how to mix prints correctly this season. The piece de resistance was the guy skiing down the slopes in nothing more than his boxers - nice day to be goaded into such a challenge, but I'll bet that's the quickest he's been down that run in a while.
All this coupled with the fact that we are deep in Wyoming, which is cowboy country and every other store is filled with charming looks that even my Budweiser buddies might run from.
So here's my mission - I'm going to spend the rest of my stay here seeking out some semblance of sanity on the clothes store front to prove to myself that all this snow does not addle ones style sense - there must be some cute clothes out there surely....

how about doing some skiing!!!!!- Lizzy
