London Fashion Week is streaming shows live....

Excellent news arrived today it seems the British Fashion Council have deemed it right & just that we, the people, should all be allowed to watch the forthcoming London Fashion Week shows from the comfort of our own computers.

The Digital Schedule is set to launch on February 19th and is due to bring together live streamed fashion shows and a selection of digitally presented fashion films created by some of London's most innovative designers.

Hussein Chalayan, who has always been at the forefront of integrating fashion and technolog, is due to present three of his most iconic films from the past decade, whilst relative newcomers Twenty8Twelve are also presenting films.

This brings me to a kind of 'good news/bad news' scenario, in as much as I have booked flights to Blighty, sourced shows to attend and even started considering my wardrobe choices... all to find that I could indeed report on this fabulous fashion gathering from New York in my pj's!

Nonetheless, it's all about the spectacle and the show ponies right, so despite this slight downturn in the economic benefit of actually turning up there, my plan is to soldier on and embrace the London scene in full.
