Lost the diamond from my engagement ring last night - wasn't sure whether to be sad or cheered by the notion that hubs has failed to buy me a Christmas pressie yet so it might be a 'call to action' for him.
After scurrying around the house on hands and knees for over an hour I concluded that this close to Crimbo there's more glitter on the floor than in Santa's grotto so chances of finding it are slim. Shall have to console myself with browsing gemstones & calling the insurers...
