The site features hot new footwear trends - for example did you know the resort 2010 collections are already arriving online. There's something for everyone from neutrals to snakeskin to colorful platforms and the ever evolving gladiator.
There are interviews with designers like Sam Edelman. A cute virtual E-zine which I think will be the way forward for magazines in the not too distant - did anyone spot the fab FT How to Spend It magazine on the weekend with info on the latest skinny heels - check out their E-zine for the story...
I will join Beauty guru Nathan Johnson, contributing to the Stylist Studio section, where no doubt every trend out there will be dissected and debated, scrutinized and surveyed until I can report a sensible take for you on how to wear the latest looks.
The one section of Running with Heels that I could have done with a few weekends ago is their travel diary Flying with Heels. On a recent Chicago spa sojourn with a girlfriend, we were aghast to find that Michigan Avenue was simply a carbon copy of New York's own dear 5th Avenue - where were the quirky eclectic spots we needed to discover? A fashionista can get decidedly dismal when all she can find is the same old same old. Apart from a chance flit into Urban Outfitters on the way to lunch at Barneys, I could have benefitted from some pre trip advice on top shopping neighborhoods. Luckily our hard leg work prevailed and after a few glasses of fizz we regrouped and stalwartly fought on to find an Intermix at least - clearly there was more shopping than spa going on, but that's between you and me...
