Nice to see Madonna all over the pap press again - this time enjoying her birthday celebrations at the beautiful Spelndido in Portofino. Hate to be a party pooper Madge but that is soooo last year. Happy to report that I spent a birthday there (possibly even the same suite) back in the day when we had a buddy who worked for the Hotel chain and managed to get mates rates for rooms - a huge weekend followed with 20 of my bestest buddies - ogling at the D&G island across the bay - clearly Madge was able to go one step further as they are all BF's. However what has not been reported is that those harbour waters are more choppy than her happy snapshots portray. I am sadly not a great seafarer and was perturbed to find that even decked out in my latest Pucci halter neck bikini sea sickness got the better of me during my time there and was only able to recover with medicinal Veuve Clicquot on tap to celebrate my big day. Chances are Madge and her entourage are so well travelled that such ripples do not occur on their hols!
